Vickie brings a strong background in business, accounting, and finance to Hall Tax & Planning Services. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a double major in Marketing and Management and earned an Associate degree in Accounting from Midlands Technical College. Prior to establishing the family business alongside Roger, she gained valuable financial experience across the industrial market and the health insurance industry.
Vickie and Roger have worked side by side from the beginning, combining their experience and expertise to build the business into what it is today. While Roger focuses primarily on retirement planning, insurance, and investments, Vickie brings her knowledge of accounting, business management, and finance to the operation. Her involvement has been an important part of the family business’s growth and development over the years.
Today, Vickie oversees the tax department at Hall Tax & Planning Services, working directly with clients on tax preparation and managing the business’s financial operations. Her broad range of responsibilities and years of experience give her a unique understanding of how taxes, finances, and long-term planning often intersect. She is an integral part of both its day-to-day operations and its continued commitment to providing clients with knowledgeable, personal service.
Haven joined Hall Tax & Planning Services in 2009 as Office Manager, where she became a familiar and welcoming presence for clients while gaining valuable experience in the family business’s daily operations. Over the years, her role has evolved, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the firm and its clients’ needs.
Today, she serves as Executive Director of Marketing, overseeing the firm’s marketing efforts and communicating the range of services available to clients. Her years of experience with the firm, along with the relationships she has cultivated with clients, continue to shape her approach to her work.
As she looks towards the future, Haven is committed to building on the foundation established by her family and to continuing the business for the next generation. Her goal is to preserve the personal relationships and level of service that have long defined Hall Tax & Planning Services/Hall Asset Management Group, while helping the firm continue to grow and serve clients for many years to come.
Roger has dedicated more than 17 years to helping individuals and families manage financial risk and prepare for a more comfortable, confident retirement. Throughout his career, his focus has remained on understanding each client’s circumstances and finding solutions tailored to their needs.
In 2005, Roger established Retirement Planning Solutions to offer clients access to a range of solutions from multiple carriers, rather than being limited to a single company or product. As the business grew, so did the needs of the families he served. Clients increasingly sought assistance beyond retirement and insurance planning, including tax preparation, investment management, estate planning, and the review of important legal documents.
That growing need led to the establishment of Hall Tax & Planning Services in 2008. Roger’s vision was to create a more comprehensive approach to financial planning by connecting clients with experienced professionals across multiple areas, including accounting, investments, estate planning, and legal services. His objective is simple: to help clients benefit from a team of professionals working together towards their long-term financial and retirement goals.
In January 2013, Roger expanded that vision by establishing Hall Asset Management Group, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm. This allowed him to further develop the investment management side of his practice while serving clients in a fiduciary capacity. Today, Roger continues to approach each client relationship with the same principle that has guided his career for more than four decades, providing educational guidance and making recommendations with his clients’ best interests at the forefront.
